Baroness Bennett of Manor Castle will host a standing reception in the UK’s Houses of Parliament on behalf of Action for Animal Health on Tuesday 4 July to formally launch our report The Case for Investing in Animal Health to Support One Health.
This report sets outs the case for why we need to pay closer attention to the health of animals we depend on to implement One Health and for sustainable development. It outlines the current state of animal health systems in lower and middle income countries, with a special focus on Pakistan and Ethiopia.
Time: 2pm until 4pm

- Dr Simon Doherty (Ripple Effect) in conversation with Dr Tewodros Tesfaye, Programme Manager at Brooke Ethiopia
- Dr Keith Sumption, Chief Veterinary Officer of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)
Followed by canapés and bubbles at 3pm.
